Photo-A-Day Challenge
Can't call it a 365 since we actually have 366 days this year! I do not have a theme as of yet. I may do themes each week soon. I will try to post here each Sunday with a recap of all the photos. You can follow along daily at my Facebook page. Enjoy feel free to comment.
A New Space
Today I took a big leap today and partnered with other creatives to share this amazing space.
The studio has tons of natural light and plenty of room to work. We have work spaces, shooting spaces, changing room, and an area for hair and make up. This is a move that will give me more availability for my clients that need "nontraditional" times for their photography needs. I look forward to shared an increased volume of work with you guys very soon.
Life on two wheels
I always wanted a motorcycle but somehow always talked myself out of it. After our family lost our home to a tornado I stopped putting off things that I wanted to try. So not only did I pursue my passion for photography, I also learned to ride. Around the same time we found a place to rent a friend of a friend was selling a motorcycle that was sitting in a barn dirt cheap. Too good to pass up the deal so we get it home inspect the damage, it needs a new motor. No big deal considering what we paid. The bigger problem was I had now idea how to ride it!
I took the rider course at Oklahoma State University's Oklahoma City campus. The class was very informative and I got my endorsement. I grew impatient as I scoured the internet for replacement parts for our Honda. That's when we found the perfect starter bike, a 1995 Yamaha Virago 535 with a few custom parts. From there the addiction set in as we tried several different styles of bikes over the last few years.
These days I try to ride every chance I can, even if its just to work. Really cannot believe it took me so long to finally do it!
